Chris Naille
Chris went to college at California University of Pennsylvania where he attained his degree in Earth Science with a concentration in Broadcast Meteorology. Before graduating, he spent two weeks in the Great Plains chasing storms and tornadoes. As early as he can remember he has been fascinated and intrigued by the weather and can recall watching out his window, on many occasions, as thunderstorms rolled through his neighborhood. From there his passion and intrigue for weather continued to grow as he found his way into broadcast Meteorology.
Chris began his career at WHAG-TV NBC25 in nearby Hagerstown, Maryland in 2004 before heading to sunny Fort Myers, Florida where he worked for WBBH-TV NBC2 for about two and half years. Chris returned home in February of 2008 to work at ABC7/WJLA-TV and News Channel 8 here in beautiful Arlington, VA.
Chris has earned the AMS (American Meteorological Society) Seal of Approval which recognizes on-air meteorologists for their sound delivery and accuracy of weather information to the general public. Among radio and television meteorologists, the AMS Seal of Approval is sought as a mark of distinction.
When he isn't forecasting or chasing storms, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors, watching sports and being with his family and friends. Chris currently lives in North Beach, Md. in Calvert County. |
